Dr. Mohammad Nasim Khogyani was born in 1964 in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province. In 1982, he graduated from Ghazi High School in Kabul and, he traveled to Germany to learn German language in order to study medicine in Freiburg city where he completed the preparatory course in September of the same year.
From 1984 to 1990, he studied at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald, where he completed his general education and received his diploma.
In 1992, he was appointed as the director of the health center of Khogiayan district. This medical center was established by the Afghan German Committee. In the same year, A.R.D.A. organization has started to distribute its financial and technical assistance which lasted until 1995. The A.R.E. organization continued its aids until the end of the 1996.
In 1997, the Austrians Aid Afghans (AAA) organization started directly to help the clinic and this health center developed into a 20-bed hospital till 2001, which was unprecedented in the region. In the same year, in November 2001, a delegation of journalists visited the hospital and interviewed Dr.Khogiani and it was published by Afghanistan National TV in Austria and finally a donation of 60000 USD was raised for the hospital and an agreement was signed with H.N.I.: an Austrian international organization operating in the region in order to spend of the money in a better way.
In the year 2003, he had an official visit to Austria and spent three months there, where he trained in hospital management and organization, and one million dollars of financial aid was collected, on which Khogyani District 45 DH Hospital has been built. The hospital was run for four years by HNI, currently known as HNTPO.
In 2008, he went to Austria again and then visited Italy, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany and Slovakia. After he returned to Afghanistan, he was hired by H.N.T.P.O. and appointed as the supervisor of Khogyani hospital. Later on, he was appointed as the C-IMCI project manager at H.N.T.P.O. in the eastern zone and has worked since 2010 to 2012 that later on, he resigned.
After that, he worked for Aid Agency of Saudi Arabia as the director of health projects in Kabul office until March 2016 and performed the Hajj too. Since 2016, he has been working as a health coordinator and pediatrics doctor at Dewanbegi Clinic in Kabul.
